Statement on the availability of the iWoofer app (Deep Waves & Vi-Q series)
The iWoofer app has so far been used as the control solution for the subwoofers of the Deep Waves and Vi-Q series. We are currently receiving occasional reports that the app cannot be found or installed from the Google Play Store on certain Android devices.
Based on our current information, this does not appear to be a general worldwide removal, but rather an availability issue within Google Play that depends on device, version, or region. Since this is an app used across platforms, other manufacturers are also affected.
We are currently reviewing the situation with regard to:
- the actual availability in different markets
- compatibility with current Android versions
- possible long-term alternatives for affected users
Important information for our customers:
The core functions of the Deep Waves and Vi-Q series remain fully available.
If the app is not available on your Android device, we recommend:
- installing it via an alternative Android device
- or using an iOS device (Apple App Store), where possible
